AI builds a rotation of 2 to 8 weeks, 4 by default, where every chore is assigned exactly once each week. You pick how strict the balance should be, and a short fairness note under the grid explains how the work was spread. A reshuffle button gives a different valid layout.
Is choresd free and do I need an account? It is free and there are no accounts. You can generate up to 10 rotations per day. Nothing about your household is stored on a server apart from that daily usage counter. When you share a rotation, the whole schedule is encoded inside the link itself, so opening the link shows the grid without any database.
How do I split chores between roommates or family members? Add each person by name, then either use the standard chore list or type your own. Mark the chores each person dislikes, choose a rotation length and a tolerance of strict, balanced or relaxed, and generate. You get a week by week grid showing who does what. Print it for the fridge or copy the share link for the group chat.
